Photo bulbs: this will depend heavily on what kind of environment and mood you would like to have in your photo and video light kits. It is recommended that you check if the light bulb that comes along with your lighting kit is energy efficient and that they do not accumulate heat as much as incandescent bulb. This sometimes can be quite tricky to find out since you will only know after a long period using it (unless you want to ask the clerk to turn it on and wait at the store for a couple of hours to check on how much heat has the light bulb produced! Definitely not recommended!)

People tend to get a bit too "Vegas" with these and overuse them; "cars" is the first thing that pops into my mind when thinking of the term "neon light kits". As any other lighting kit, this requires good design knowledge to make the most of it. Since neon lights tend to be quite flashy and eye-catching, you must be really careful where and how to place them. With more discrete lighting kits you might get away with it, but with neon light think hard before using them anywhere.
